My Story..


I have been working in administration, in a corporate environment, in a variety of secretarial posts since leaving high school. 

Over the years my exposure to many different types of industries including, music, automobile, training, accountancy and construction at all levels of management, has been invaluable. 

My love of travelling enabled me to gain further experience internationally, working in property and the Education Minister's administration office in Sydney, Australia and finally the New Zealand Stock Exchange. 

This work experience was enhanced by the importance of 'customer service' while working in hospitality in Val D'Isere (French Alps) for two winter seasons. 


In my thirties, time out was taken to raise a family however, during this period, educational goals were set and achieved to keep my skills fresh and enhance my qualifications. 

Obtaining the London Chamber of Commerce Executive Secretaries Diploma, Multimedia & Web Design and a Foundation Degree in Hospitality & Tourism were vital to further my career development once my children were grown and more independent. 

During this time I also assisted in setting up a small accountancy practice and feel proud to have achieved it all later in life.

Since starting my own business I have learned so much and met some amazing people along the way.  I continue to grow in experience and knowledge as time goes by and fine tune my skill set to provide my customers with the best possible experience.


Having achieved everything  I wanted to in terms of working for others, I grasped an opportunity to take voluntary redundancy in my last job to set up my own business.  It was time to channel all my hard work into something I created for myself and my family.  

Armed with all the experience I needed,

SP Solutions Bangor was launched in April 2018.  Sharing my skills and knowledge with small businesses was rewarding and enabled me to take pride in adding value and watch them grow. 

Although based in Bangor, Northern Ireland this does not limit my clients to this area. 

Furthermore, with my industry memberships, I do not feel alone in this venture. I have access to a large team of professionals whose knowledge I can tap into if and when needed.
